I enjoy creating art to capture the calm and peaceful, yet often stunning landscapes of creation.

My ultimate goal is to produce enchanting scenes that invite you to step through the canvas and immerse yourself in a different world. Whether depicting a tranquil river, a calming seaside, or perhaps an expansive sunset filled with vibrant colors, my paintings reflect some of the most inviting, beautiful, and breathtaking scenes that I find in nature.

Born in the western United States, I have lived in many places throughout my years, from the great northwest to an island by the sea to the arid deserts of the southwestern states, where I now reside. I still enjoy travel, and the amazing scenery I see continues to appear in my artwork.

All my paintings are oil on canvas using the Alla Prima technique, which I taught myself years ago. This is my favorite method for making realistic landscapes, and I like the surface textures that help bring the paintings to life.
